Who? What? When? Why? How?

I have recently had some changes in my life and thought I'd try something new. Photography has always interested me and now I will have a little more time to do it and I have the best subject in the world, my six month old son, Aaron.

First of all we are NOT (yet) professional photographers. (obviously). In fact I have had no training whatsoever. I am reading a "Short Guide to Photography", off of the internet, my cameras instruction manual, and I hope to take a few of Matt Terry's photography classes this summer assuming A) I have the money and B) I can get a babysitter. I have a workshop on Adobe Photoshop that I am looking forward to taking this summer and maybe I can sweet talk some friends in letting me practice on them.
